About Annabel
Annabel Lille Hertz is the author of Seeing Green, the story of a young activist's jaunt into the world of environmentalism. Drawing on her background with NGOs, her writing engages readers in international politics and non-profiteering, and shows the many sides of the people who work in that world.
She studied international relations and public policy at Harvard's Kennedy School, American University, SF State, UC Santa Cruz, the University of Sussex and the UN/Ralph Bunche Institute. Her adopted home is DC, though she has also lived in New York, Paris, Berlin, Geneva and Kingston, Jamaica.
Like Arcani, the protagonist of Seeing Green, she grew up in San Francisco and lives on espresso and avocados.
